ABOUT ME
My artistic practice spans several mediums, including abstract painting, soft sculpture, and installation. In recent years, I have explored how experiences of memory, loss, and vulnerability can take material form through the mediums in which I work.
My paintings combine acrylic, charcoal, textiles, and hand stitching, building layered surfaces through both painterly and textile-based processes. In my soft sculptures and installations, I work with materials such as fabric, wax, and rice paper, using mixed techniques of casting, dyeing, heating, stitching, and assembling fragments into fragile, amorphous structures.
Through these material processes, I explore bodily and emotional attempts at repair and reconstruction, where traces of failure and fracture remain visible.
